Observation of Acupuncture Effects on the Expression of Taurine Transporter and Taurine in the Senescence-Accelerated Mouse Brain: A Pilot Study
Previous studies indicated that acupuncture on a pair of acupoints of “DU16” and “DU20” can increase brain taurine transporter (TauT) expression in mice These results indicate that acupuncture stimulation might improve cognitive and behavioral abilities by increasing the expression of TauT and taurine.
